Public bug reported: I've installed Ubuntu using an encrypted (home) setup, which also sets up an encrypted partition.
Such swap partition though, it's not setup correctly, so it causes problems, for example, with the hibernation support. I've found that /dev/mapper/cryptswap1 doesn't exist, as setup by the Ubuntu installer. I've tried to run ecryptfs-setup-swap, which correctly sets up the system (I can see a change in /etc/fstab, /etc/crypttab, and also, /dev/mapper/cryptswap1 symlink is created), but when I restart the system, same problem happens. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1331520 Title: The encrypted swap partition is not correctly setup Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I've installed Ubuntu using an encrypted (home) setup, which also sets up an encrypted partition.
