test http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ (live environment
would be fine) and advise to the results?

This hardware was not available to me prior to Trusty.
There is also #1245159 but that is on different hardware.
Could these be something with LXDE?

the very top line at the top of the page (not the daily folder) following
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional
upstream developers to examine the issue. Once you've tested the
