exzemat, I personally have a rule where I don't install BIOS updates
unless it's downloaded directly from the vendor website.
Despite this, could you please test the latest mainline kernel via
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.17-rc1-utopic/ and
advise to the results?

In bios setting, the following details:
Bios version 2.15.1227 copyright 2012 american Megatrends
MB series : w310cz
Bios version : 1.02.04
KBC/EC Firmware revision : 1.02.02
I see on this repo

that this bios version and EC revision is dated on
I tested
linux-headers-3.16.0-031600-generic_3.16.0-031600.201408031935_amd64.deb.
Still erratic jump/selection.
to complet bug's description : I also found that if I restart the computer when
the cursor is crazy, the cursor is blocked in the middle of the screen (only
the right click works).
