sorry for the meta-bug here, but just upgraded from
linux-image-3.18.0-8-generic: /boot/vmlinuz-3.18.0-8-generic
to
linux-image-3.18.0-9-generic: /boot/vmlinuz-3.18.0-9-generic
and now:
a.) I don't seem to have an audio device ('settings -> sound' shows only
'Dummy Output')
b.) my LCD screen is in 1280x800 resolution rather than the 1364x768 that
i'd expect.
c.) external monitor is not detected.
