can't power off when shutting down

Bug description:
We have a dozen of HP laptop here running ubuntu and xubuntu 14.04 and 14.10
and, since few months, all of them can't power off when we try to shutdown
them. Indeed, after few seconds of an apparent power off, the laptops restart.
Please find attached, the dmesg result of one of them.
