So, after a lot of testing, I confirm the bug, and I also confirm the
workaround ("options rtl8723be fwlps=0 swlps=0 ips=0" in

I've read on a forum that the bug is due to power management issues in the WiFi driver. Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
