Touchpad not working on ASUS ZenBook UX305CA-FC037T
Status in Linux:
I've tried kernel 4.4 "linux-image-4.4.0-040400-generic_4.4.0" and this kernel
doesn't work.
Then I've installed "linux-image-4.4.0-rc8-touchpad_4.4.0-rc8" as described in
" linux-kernel-bugs #108581". It works as expected! Thanks a lot.

4.3 to 4.4-rc8 in order to identify the last bad commit, followed
immediately by the first good one. Once this good commit has been
identified, it may be reviewed for backporting. Could you please do this

Hi Christopher, it think you're on the wrong track.
linux-image-4.4.0-rc8-touchpad_4.4.0-rc8 is just the rc8 kernel with the
patches for the touchpad driver
downloaded here: http://www.godisbeautiful.net/4.4rc8deb/
the fix will go mainline in 4.5
