If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change anything? Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. Also, you don't have to create a new bug report. I tested with the latest upstream kernel[0]. Unfortunately I still have to manually blacklist i2c_hid for the touchpad to work, which is at least some steps less than described here[1].
