I just bought the machine a couple of days ago and installed Xenial
straight away so I havent' had a working kernel on this.
I was thinking about installing a mainline build earlier but did not get
to it. Then I discovered that the battery life on this thing is pretty

prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
