The external monitor, ethernet cable, etc. are connected through this docking station. Everything else works perfectly (USB connectors, etc.) but the headphone jack doesn't work. I've tested it on windows and works fine. When i connect the earphones to the jack, the laptop (on-board) speaker gets muted (like you'd expect), but can't hear anything through the headphone also. This problem has been there since Dapper and now I'm using Gutsy. My old bug report got expired, so opening a new one. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.15/+bug/55150 Thanks, -vikas To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/157313/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
