I can confirm this is also a problem on my Dell Inspiron 1520. It seems to only happen using the 4.8.0 kernel. Resume from hibernation fails while decompressing the hibernation image. The boot time is much longer than when I use the 4.4.0 kernel on my Xubuntu 16.10 installation. It seems the
