Public bug reported:

It looks to have been fixed in 4.8.026, but the previous version of the
kernel was complaining bitterly, possibly when an SD card reader was
unplugged.

The first time it happened, two days ago, it was noticed when the
partition with /var/log ran out of space thanks to the volume of
messages to kern.log and syslog.

The second time, yesterday, it was spotted before then:

I can plug in and remove the reader without this happening following
today's update.

The four requested files are attached, but this is with the new version
where it's not happening.
