Ubuntu 16.04.2 is based on kernel 4.8[1], and we want to add support for POWER9 on this kernel. In order to do so, we will need to cherry- pick important patches. What are the commit ids for these patches? Once we have the first batch of commit-ids, we will get this feature mirrored to Canonical.
