If this still is an issue, can you run the following:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall zfsutils-linux
and let me know if you see any subsequent errors. If so, please attach
the output from /var/lib/dkms/zfs*/*/build/make.log

I'm finding it hard to figure out why this failed. Can you upload the
contents of the apt history logs to the bug report? You will find them

you add that to the bug report?
