Enable Qlogic network drivers for installer

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Not all Qlogic network drivers are enabled in the installer kernel (Ubuntu

  Please enable this drivers:
  1) Add all E4 FastLinQ qed* drivers (qed, qede, qedr, qedi, qedf)
  2) Add all E3 FastLinQ bnx* drivers (bnx2, cnic, bnx2x, bnx2i, bnx2fc)

qed and qede might already be enabled with a recent change:

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1744875] Re: Enable Qlogic network drivers for installer

2018-01-25 Thread Ameen Rahman
If bnx2, bnx2x, qed/qede are enabled then that will cover install over
network.

Other drivers are not required at this time and we can close this bug.

qedr is the RoCE/iWARP driver. we don't need this unless there is a way
to install over RDMA.

bnx2fc, bnx2i, qedf and qedi are storage drivers. They are required if
we plan to install on to a FCoE or iSCSI LUN. cnic is needed if we are
using bnx2fc or bnx2i. I believe storage drivers are currently not
supported.

bnx2 and bnx2x are already enabled. As noted, qed/qede have already been
enabled in LP: #1743569.

qedr appears to be a ROCE driver. I don't have a lot of experience with
ROCE - is there a realistic need for that at install-time? (Note that
the driver is already present after install).

bnx2fc, bnx2i, qedf and qedi appear to be storage drivers (over
network). If added, would these actually be usable in an installer
environment?

According to Kconfig, cnic supports offload features. It looks like the
bnx2 driver actually runs the adapter - so it doesn't seem like
something that should go into the installer.
