[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1748671] Re: BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000009

2018-09-28 Thread NJ
I've encountered the same error, on Mint 19 - based on Ubuntu 18.04 -
with kernel 4.19.0-041900rc4-generic.

I encountered the problem while trying to re-enable my touchpad after
resume from sleep - on the infamous Lenovo X1 Carbon Sixth Generation.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1748671] Re: BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000009

2018-02-14 Thread Kleber Sacilotto de Souza
This bug is awaiting verification that the kernel in -proposed solves
the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the
results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-
xenial' to 'verification-done-xenial'. If the problem still exists,
change the tag 'verification-needed-xenial' to 'verification-failed-
xenial'.

If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will
be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how
to enable and use -proposed. Thank you!

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1748671] Re: BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000009

2018-02-12 Thread Simon Déziel
I could reproduce with kernel 4.4.0-115.139. Removing dnsmasq's Apparmor
profile doesn't change anything.
Once the artful container boots, the host's dnsmasq (lxd-bridge) hangs (state
D) and stracing it showed absolutely nothing.
