Can you please check that the screen rotation lock is not active? It's
one of the circular buttons in the system menu next to the Settings and
Power buttons.

  Since last upgrades the screen orientation of the internal monitor of
  my Thinkpad X1 Yoga does no longer change even if I turn the laptop
  around.
