Wow, this is really old.  I am sorry for the lack of information.  The
built-in system is obviously flawed, as previously noted.  Further, I no
longer use Xubuntu, and have been very happy moving to Debian for a long
time now.  No more errors and screw-ups from trying to reinvent the
wheel, and no more bad tech support.

Cannot comply with request for apport as it "collects potentially
sensitive data, such as core dumps, stack traces, and log files. They
can contain passwords, credit card numbers, serial numbers, and other
private material" and I am not allowed to share such information.
