Here I am running a lenovo Helix 2 on a lenovo dock. The dock works
(except of the HDMI output, which is another case and filed elsewhere).

So the dock works with headphones, ethernet and its 3 USB-plugs. However, the 
latter seem to influence each other, like in the good old days when an 
interrupt was shared.
I run a Logitech receiver for mouse and keyboard on the dock, which works fine. 
This is how it looks like:

However, when I plug an external hard disk (2.5") into another USB-plug, the 
movements of the mouse and the keystrokes are 90% of the time ineffective, 
respectively the mouse can almost never be moved. Here is how it looks like:

Removing the hard disk from the dock, respectively plugging the receiver
into the tablet itself, solve this problem immediately.

I am using the original lenovo power supply. Therefore I can't make out
a problem in supply voltage.
