Public bug reported:

The components:
- Dell Precision M4800 laptop
- Dell docking station, with USB keyboard attached

Ubuntu 16.04 installed

Test case A) Booting in Docking Station with laptop lid closed:
===============================================================
Boot will proceed through unlocking disk encryption. When graphical user
interface starts, screen will go black and start spewing `unable to enumerate
USB device on port` messages

Test case B) In docking station, close lid and resume:
=====================================================
If laptop lid is closed when resuming from suspend, screen will go black and
start spewing `unable to enumerate USB device on port` messages

Test case C) Suspend without docking station (this one works):
==============================================================
1. Boot to laptop without docking station attached
2. Suspend
3. Attach to docking station with lid closed
4. Resume

C) is currently the only case where everything works properly.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
