Scrolling on pages or hovering over UI objects also seems to trigger it too though Testing: There is crackling coming from any speakers (headsets or brand-new speakers with no known issues). Crackling does not seem to be related to audio (it can occur even with sound turned off in the sound-control menu). (it does stop when power to speakers are removed) Video play back and during games seems to be when the issue is the worst.
