I‘ve fixed this mouse at upstream Linux kernel with HID_QUIRK_ALWAYS_POLL. See https://github.com/sriemer/fix-linux- mouse/issues/15 and https://www.spinics.net/lists/linux- input/msg63199.html. It is queued for v5.4-rc1 and v4.16+ stable.
