My suggestion is to try 16.10, 17.04 etc to find out which userspace regressed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1841098 Title: PCI-passthrough instance creation problem

It works fine using 4.15.0-58-generic on 16.04. Both 18.04 and 16.04 were deployed with maas, then openstack ansible and both were not using netplan so the userspace configurations are exactly the same. All 7 nodes had the exactly same issue when using 18.04. -- You received this bug

It could be a userspace issue. What happens when using newer kernel on 16.04? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1841098 Title: PCI-passthrough instance creation problem
