Title:
Default line out device missing after suspend in 20.04

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
After suspending the computer the default sound device is gone and the
sound output now defaults to the HDMI out.

Resetting pulseaudio with pulseaudio -k makes no difference, removing
the user pulseaudio config and killing / restarting the server as
explained in some troubleshoot guides doesn't make any difference
  either.

The only solution seems to be to restart the computer.

This is happening in two different computers recently updated to 20.04
from 19.10 one of them and from 18.04 the other.

Alsamixer seems to show the default sound device but pulseaudio can't see it
