[ADL] ITBM support for Hybrid platforms

Bug description:
  [Impact]

Need ITBM support for Hybrid platforms. Need to change the scheduling
order from Core, HT, ATOM to Core, ATOM, HT.

When using ITBM on systems that has a mixture of CPUs supporting
Hyper-Threading and others not supporting it (even offlining HT siblings may
cause the issue to be reproducible). Hybrid topologies meet the aforementioned
condition. In such cases, threads will be consolidated on CPUs of high priority
using got HT siblings, while CPUs of medium priority will remain idle.
  https://projectacrn.org/

  [Fix]

Intel provides a list of patches to enable AlderLake

  [Test]

  This is requested by Intel.

  [Where problems could occur]

Only applicable on Intel AlderLake. Further testing will be required.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1952007] Re: [ADL] ITBM support for Hybrid platforms

2022-02-24 Thread Ubuntu Kernel Bot
This bug is awaiting verification that the linux-intel-
iotg-5.15/5.15.0-1002.4~20.04.2 kernel in -proposed solves the problem.
Please test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the
problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-focal' to
'verification-done-focal'. If the problem still exists, change the tag
'verification-needed-focal' to 'verification-failed-focal'.

If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will
be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how
to enable and use -proposed. Thank you!
