Public bug reported: I recently updated from Ubuntu 18.04 to Ubuntu 20.04. During the process I had a blank screen but solves the issue. However on starting the system, it did not detect the touchpad. I had my mouse connected to the laptop in the process which I think must have affected the process as it only recognizes my mouse.
