This still appears to be an issue. Events are listed in `perf list` but not available for use by `perf record` e.g. $ sudo /usr/lib/linux-tools/6.2.0-39-generic/perf record -e syscalls:sys_enter_fsync -ag event syntax error: 'syscalls:sys_enter_fsync' \___ unsupported
