[Kernel-packages] [Bug 2043665] Re: Hundreds of errors per second: kernel: pcieport 0000:00:1c.3: PCIe Bus Error

2024-04-26 Thread Bjorn Helgaas
The "pcie_aspm=off" kernel parameter hides a problem. I would really like to fix the underlying problem so the parameter isn't needed. If anybody sees this problem and is willing to help fix it, please open a bug report at https://bugzilla.kernel.org/, product Drivers/PCI, mention the hardware

Yes, sorry, I'm just learning how to do these things. :) I will attach a log of a past boot but I have to say... the problem has evaporated and these messages don't appear anymore even if I have removed "pcie_aspm=off" from GRUB. While this first installation was done with the new desktop

Can you post a log (from the beginning of the boot process) that shows the errors? ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu.
