I am new to this so I am sorry if I do It wrong or if i piss somebody off. 2011 thats 5 years to change a keymap. I think many mac users just gave up by now (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2319868). This howto has a working .xmodmap for danish keyboards: http://howto.praqma.net/ubuntu/keyboard It doesnt change the "keyboard layout chart", but it works allright.
How hard would it be to submit this to upcoming bugfixes. Obviously i don't know how this works haha. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/910174 Title: Macbook Air 4.2 no advanced keys on danish keyboard Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I installed Ubuntu 11.10 on a danish MacBook Air 4.2. I have chosen the danish Mac keyboard (detected) but none of the "advanced" keys are working ( {}[]@ etc ). This makes the system pretty much useless.
