[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1350620] Re: [Lenovo Thinkpad X230] Rapidly increasing Load_Cycle_Count on battery

2014-08-03 Thread Casey Marshall
The rate certainly seems slower than before with latest 3.16 kernel (Linux cloudsong 3.16.0-031600-generic #201408031935 SMP Sun Aug 3 23:36:11 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux). Is this looking more like a normal cycle pattern, or still more load cycles than there should be?

Hi Joseph, Still getting the same error when Software Updater tries to install the new linux-headers file.  Unable to remove the old file. I used your instructions in terminal (after two tries and reboots) to install the first update successfully, but all subsequent updates simply will not

I tried one more time, saw a message in Terminal which said you may need to use autoremove -- so I executed that, then tried to install the header package again through Software Updater. Received error message again: unable to move aside to install new version. Simply won't install it. Syd On
