If you look in net/ipv4/Makefile, you'll see this line:

If CONFIG_IP_PNP is not set to y, then all of net/ipv4/ipconfig.c is

Hi Christopher,
The bios has been upgraded to the latest one available, v2.20 from Tobshiba,

very frequent, more than with the old bios, though only in Firefox so far.

AndyP, it looks like you do have a different card. Your card has the
PCI ID of 168c:0042, while the QCA6164 has the PCI ID of 168c:0041.
According to http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=305292, your

Forgot to say:
3) Reboot your computer. Run "sudo lshw -C network" to see if the card
is recognized.
4) If it still isn't working, run "uname -r" to make sure you're running
kernel 4.5.

Public bug reported:
I performed a btrfs balance for a disk which ran out of space. When I
did this some months ago, I got an error message, but this time, I got a
soft lockup and the file system got mounted read-only:

Note that some months ago (when I got the error message), I still was
able to cleanly free up some diskspace and perform a clean btrfs balance
(which freed a lot of space).
My hope was that I'd get an error message and exit cleanly if disk space
is missing. Instead, I got the soft lockup.
