I turned on external PPA because it wasn't working. The problem is simple,
image is broken until Xorg is loaded (either by choosing Xorg in GDM, or
disabling Wayland for GDM). Xorg does something that fixes the picture in
Wayland (and thus in GDM if GDM is running with Wayland enabled).

Sorry, but with a kernel problem, this problem needs to be solved. First.
My interest in workarounds is limited. It is a task of QC to step in for a
remedy to a regression.

ZFS already limits the amount of IO that a scrub can do. Putting
multiple pools on the same disk defeats ZFS's IO scheduler.* Scrubs are
just one example of the performance problems that will cause. I don't
think we should complicate the scrub script to accommodate this
scenario.
My suggestion is

Concerning the support of Nvidia GP107M [GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile] by
the 'nouveau' module of Linux kernels :
- Before kernel v4.12, it was NOT supported at all.
- Beginning with kernel v4.12, I could NOT install Ubuntu 17.10 Beta at
all, so I suppose that the current issue was present.

I can do it, but the E-350D is not the fastest CPU out there (I dont
have access to any other debian boxes at the moment). It took around 1.5
hours to build the first package and it looks like it will take up to 13
more steps, so it may be quite a few days before I have the broken
commit.
