I can confirm that manually copying the files in https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux- firmware.git/commit/?id=73144e02dcff54529ab42d951de682740d204180, and rebooting, seems to resolve the issue. To resolve this bug, all that's needed, I believe, is an update of those
