To solve the brightness buttons problem, you have to add the option
acpi_osi without value in your /etc/default/grub file like this :
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=quiet splash acpi_osi=
and then : update-grub

unusable. The connection is VERY slow and keeps dropping.
