This is a regression. Up to 13.10 there was no problem changing screen
bightness on my Asus Eeepc 1015PEM. This machine has function keys for
changing the screen brightness up (with Fn+F6) and down (with Fn+F5).
In 14.04 using the function keys causes the indicator to
