** Tags added: apport-collected third-party-packages
** Description changed:
Screen freezes when I watch video in VLC media player. Moving mouse is
of no use and Ctrl + Alt + T short cut does not launch terminal. But I
Could hear the audio even after screen freeze.
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64431#c24 has the same stack
trace. Will try to check this weekend if the bug is fixed in drm-intel-
nightly branch.
If a .deb is available for that kernel I can use it directly which may
speed up my testing.
** Bug watch added: Linux Kernel Bug
I have installed linux 3.19. The bug occurs at random time and I am not
sure when I will be able to reproduce it. I will test and get back at
the latest.

I too faced the same issue now in my Lenovo Y510p running Ubuntu 14.10 64bit.
No keys work only I can hear the audio. I force shutdown to get back my laptop
to work.
