Just to make you aware, there will be patch(es) coming ~WW40 or later to
fix the current upstream ixgbe and ixgbevf drivers to work with B0
silicon. We are hoping to get these into the 4.8 kernel before the
kernel release, but may have to go through the stable-kernel tree if the
fixes do not make
Tested on a desktop with i7 CPU, and on a Dell laptop with an i7 CPU. No
discernible regressions. I can't determine if it works on a Denverton
platform, but I have to assume Intel got it right.
