These instruction used by DOSEMU and other Software to emulate x86 instructions. Some comments from HPA below. UMIP enabling is trivial (a CR4 bit), except that a handful of applications (dosemu in particular) might depend on those instructions, especially SMSW. As we don't want to make it too easy for an application to disable UMIP while running, I'm wondering if we can use H.J.'s proposed flags scheme to mark that an executable needs to disable UMIP.
