Status in linux source package in Xenial:

Status in linux source package in Artful:
  Fix Committed
Status in linux source package in Bionic:

Bug description:
  [Impact]
A misleading error is occasionally emitted by the kernel.

  [Test Case]
Boot a ThunderX system and watch for the error:

  [Regression Risk]
Driver is specific to a platform, and the only functional change is skipping
the emission of an error message.
