2019-02-28 Thread Sherif
I commented blacklist... then added it to /etc/modules. Now, it's always on.
In first attempt, I failed to receive files from mobile. Now, I can.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1816493] Re: Ralink RT3290 Is Not in Kernel

2019-02-27 Thread Sherif
I found the driver in https://github.com/loimu/rtbth-dkms.
It's available as PPA: https://launchpad.net/~blaze/+archive/ubuntu/rtbth-dkms.
But I can't enable it always. I've to leave a terminal tab.

Can you include it in kernel??

Also, see https://askubuntu.com/questions/778615/ralink-rt-3290
-bluetooth-problem-on-ubuntu-16-04.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1816493] Re: Ralink RT3290 Is Not in Kernel

2019-02-19 Thread Kai-Heng Feng
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v5.0-rc7 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as
"Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.

Actual results:
I can't use bluetooth.

Expected results:
I can use bluetooth.

Additional info:
Laptop: HP Pavilion g6.
Ralink wifi works, but the wifi button is always red (It's supposed to be
white, while wifi is enabled).

Distribution: Fedora 29 KDE Spin (64 bit).
All packages are updated.

The problem isn't fixed in Ubuntu, OpenSUSE and Arch also.
