Joseph

I will look at the kernel. I used to have Ubuntu 14.04 and it worked
perfectly.

Kind regards

Title:
When using external monitor displays become unstable

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I am using a HP Pavilion dv6 with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 Graphics.
After upgrading to ubuntu 16.04 LTS using Gallium 0.4 on AMD REDWOOD (DRM
2.43.0, LLVM 3.8.0). I get an unstable display when I plug in my external
display through the VGA port. The system keeps cycling through the display
options using only one display, then both then extended and then the other
display. This happens every 10-15 seconds.
