Sorry for late reply. I can only test it on a Samsung laptop because
Toshiba laptop is with my in-laws, who live quite far away from me. Is
testing the v5.0-rc7 up to date?

Bug description:
I reported this bug on a Samsung laptop. The same happened when using
a toshiba laptop. When I open the chrome, the cursor has frozen and
the screen turns off. No key combination worked and I had to force my
laptop off. In the system log the error appeared at 12.12
