They always sound like something is utilizing CPU - even with no applications running after boot. If I boot back to 5.3.0-19-generic it's fine. My microcode version is reported as 0xd4 and iucode-tool reports: iucode-tool: system has processor(s) with signature 0x000506e3 Let me know if you need anything else. Didn't do that before The update will make it's way into the normal updates, though this may take some time (3-6 weeks typically) due to the amount of testing we need to do on kernel updates. It won't be in the next update as that one is already undergoing testing; it will be in the update after that.
