Is there a means in which one can create a new form from one that
already exists? I have tried to select all, copy, and then paste to the
new form, but that doesn't work. I am trying to have consistent looking
forms without too much work.
Thanks,
Scott
Jaroslaw,
I would like to be able to contribute to Kexi's documentation
effort. How would it be best to do so? Send email to you with my
additions or changes?
Thanks,

When creating a query and trying to save it, it crashes with a
segment fault 11. This is in regards to version 2.3.1-4.7.1 running on
OpenSuSE 11.4. The table was selected and then the insert button was
pressed. I selected two columns to be presented and then clicked save.
That is when

It seems to me that running an earlier version of Kexi allowed color
to be applied to forms but in the latest and greatest it does not. Is
it that with the latest version of Kexi that the colorization of forms
has been disabled?

a button and want to
assign an action to print the form that is displayed however there is no
such action. Sounds like a needed function in a next release. (I know
there are many things to do yet, but I thought I would add my 2 cents in)

Kexi
I just started working again with Kexi on Ubuntu 10.10, with KDE
4.5.1, and Kexi 2.2.2.
Created a simple table with a unique primary key and a second field

After I enter the text field and then go to enter the next text
Unfortunately Kexi is not included with OpenSuSE 11.2 nor in any of
the online repositories. So, I'm left to build it via the source code.
The Koffice build code was not included but have installed it. Anyone
have experience building Kexi on OpenSuSE? Any recommendations?
Thanks,

5) Also, as a side thought, can certain fields be prevented from being
displayed? Also, a field can be displayed, but not altered?
Is it possible to do this in Kexi?
Thanks,

I would like to contribute to Kexi and have been poking around the

I am trying to compile Kexi per the instructions found at:
http://kexi-project.org/wiki/wikiview/index@usingsubversion.html
Ran into a snag where it states in the instructions:
./configure --enable-debug=full --prefix=`kde-config --prefix`
perl admin/am_edit

Just starting out with Kexi and so far I think it's great. Perhaps
when I get familiar with it I can help further develop it. Or at least
improve on the documentation. But for now I have a couple of questions
concerning forms. 1) I would like to have a menu form where I can enter
