Re: [kicad-users] Re: Auto pin pitch
I entered the values manually. Lots of work, and sometimes the values are not accepted by the program, for example, I enter 3.017 and the program automatically switches to 3.020 Thank you. 2010/5/12 Lorenzo lomar...@tin.it I'm editing a module and I want to change the space between each pin automatically. How is it done? There is no way to do that... Many people use scripts to generate automatically .emp files with the desired pitch and size, but manually you have to move them one at a time (a custom grid helps a lot) Please read the Kicad FAQ in the group files section before posting your question. Ok, Thanks. 2007/2/23, Danilo Uccelli [EMAIL PROTECTED]: 2007/2/23, Luis R. Hilario B. [EMAIL PROTECTED]: KiCad has the Component USB, but does not have Footprint neither 3D. Here there is one, but does not function neither has extension .mod http://www.kicadlib.org/modules/CONN_USB_B.png Hi, The one you can find on kicadlib.org is an .emp (the export format of Kicad), so you have to import it with module editor. Generally, I put the single modules in .emp format so it is more easy to import it in a custom library and to have not to declare an infinity of library for a project.
