The dark box is +VE, the 'shield' is -VE.

Heh.   It was unfamiliar to me too, so I just created a new capacitor
using one of the symbols I recognise.

In Schematic, the Capacitor (Polarised) - known as CP is a symbol that I am 
not familiar with.

It's a dark box inside a sort of shield. Is the dark box +ve?
