I had somethign very similar to that happen on an IC I created. What I finally
had to do was to hand-edit the text file to remove the duplicated parts. After
that, I could edit the part to complete the fine touches.
On a side note, are these formats documented anywhere? I figured out enough
I did just that. I even opened up the board's .brd file and checked all of the
numbers in there to make sure. Any other suggestions as to where to look?

My initial guesses would be:
1. You used a local label instead of a global label or net name.
2. Somehow numbers were not the last characters in the individual nets or the
bus was not the prefix of the net names.
3. Buses in KiCAD are not like computer busses. Only nets with the same prefix

As I've been told, the general consensus is that you should not use the
built-in autorouter. I too have just done my first board (4 layers, 8x11),
with a lot of help and hand-holding from the wonderful contributors to this
list. I basicaly had to just hand-route the entire board. It wasn't

Usually I just append the voltage to the end of the name:
VSS33 for 3.3 V, VSS18 for 1.8V, VCC5 for 5 volt, GNDA for Analog ground, etc.
Just make sure your power pins are labelled as such, this mechanism works very
well.

There is an option to archive a project. I think it is under the File
menu. You can then take that archive file to another computer and restore it
there. I don't recall the exact sequences, but it's fairly obvious once you
