Thomas, one other observation. In your screen vid you select the date from a
single box. In my screen grab the date is one box for day and a separate box

Ah ha! I figured out the cause.
One of the later transactions (2020-10-22) for the affected security was marked
as reconciled. When I clear the "reconciled" state for that transaction, that

One major difference: you do it on Windows, I do it on Linux. It may not be the

I have tried the same steps with the anonymised file, downloaded from here. It
behaved exactly as the file it is based on, that is, it crashed when I tried to
close a stock subaccount. However, there is a difference. The

Thomas, thanks for the screen video. That removes any doubt that I have (after
