I've gone back to this version kmymoney-mingw64-4.8.4-2.1-setup.exe and quotes
work fine - same PC and firewall settings.

Hi Ralf,
I tried the portable version but get the same problem. I am not using a proxy
that I'm aware of. (The same connection worked fine for online quotes with the
earlier versions I was using that did not support gpg

If you go to the task manager and expand the kmymoney entry there are two

Although I can now open the .kym file no problem
You cannot save the file to an existing file name, however you may save it to a
new file name ( ie 'save as' to the same network location )
