For Windows, that installation issue is a matter for the Craft developers in #kde-craft:kde.org i'm afraid. One component of the alkimia library is the retrieval of online courses from a remote website by downloading the HTML content. Some websites generate the required data with javascript, which is why a browser with javascript support is required to be able to retrieve the data.
